Mascaras are about to become gadgets. The newest mascaras from Estee Lauder and Lancome are going to be battery operated, I am very excited to try them, but kinda scared because I am a complete spaz.

Estee Lauder's Turbo Lash All Effects Motion Mascara (the left image) will be released July 17 at Saks and then to the rest of the stores in December. Apparently it is going to move up and down. Maybe like a toothbrush?
Not to be outdone, current mascara champion Lancome is releasing their own battery operated mascara, Oscillation in the Fall. This wand automatically creates the zig zag application to get the most mascara on your lashes. It oscillates at 7000 times per second!
Ok battery operated mascaras can sound scary, but I can see them working ... but take a look at this non-electronic mascara ...

This crazy contraption is Givenchy's Phenomen’Eyes which is a whole new way to apply mascara. Although it looks like a torture weapon from the middle ages, apparently it evenly coats your lashes from root to tip with a new type of polymer to lengthen and thicken your lashes.
So it looks like this Fall will be a new season for mascara and I can't wait to try all of these out!
Are you frightened of these new innovations? Excited to try them? Want to see the reviews before you put them any where near your eyes?
IDK about this........i'll have to see some reveiws before i even think about getting one.
