I am very happy to report, I have finally tried the new mascara, Oscillation by Lancome!!   I've been dying to try it and one of my friends ordered it for me and I finally got it on Friday!  



As you know, the mascara has an oscillating or spinning brush.   That sounds a lot scarier than it really is.   The oscillations are so tiny that you do not need to worry about poking your eye out. You will see in the video below that the slight movement from the wand is just enough to make sure every lash gets coated with  mascara.

 I would say this mascara is more a lengthening mascara. It creates long, natural looking lashes that are never spidery. It doesn't thicken as much as I am used to, but the ability to get all of my short lashes definitely makes up for some of the thickness.

If you are looking for a great lengthening mascara, Oscillation is definitely a top contender.   It not only lengthens but gives the appearance of slightly thicker lashes while looking very natural.   The best part is it does it super fast, so you girls that are always rushing out the door, can apply it quickly and have fab lashes all day.

I rate it 5 of 5, it does everything I need from a mascara plus lets me sleep in 3 minutes longer in the morning.  I am in love!

The mascara looks great! I'm not a fan of the crazy voluminous mascaras, so this one might be the one for me -- natural looking! Great review!

Your lashes did look really good and it really did give the appearance of thicker lashes as well ...especially when you applied the eyeliner ...I am glad you got to try it out I know you were excited about it !! Great Video ....

Wow, this mascara looked great on you! In the beginning I thought it was crazy for you to use a vibrating mascara but that stuff really looks like it works! I love your youtube channel, keep doing what you do! Great vid.

I tried to get one of these, but I was too late (sigh). I'm really curious to see how it does on my lower lashes without getting it onto my face as well (second generation klutz here). I just don't know if it's worth the $34, but at the same time, I'm a gagdet junkie and have to have the biggest, latest doodad! I'd love to be entered into the contest!

I hope someone does a knock version of this because I can't see myself paying 35 dollars for mascara, ever. But I'd love to score the real deal for free until CoverGirl or whomever knocks it off.

I really only do drug store brand mascara........i just can't see myself paying all that money for some thing i have to throw away in a few months.......but of course i'll take a free one!! LOL

Love your review, so honest! When I first heard about this mascara I was expecting the wand to actually spin and thought it sounded a little gimmicky. But now I'm totally interested when this hits shelves in December! It makes your lashes look natural but soo pretty and long!

Unfortunately I cannot get the mascara in Germany at the moment and there was no presale :o(. But it looks so great... Lashes up to heaven...! I'm afraid I have to wait till next year.

Hey Critty.. I've only recently discovered your fabulous videos. I've subscribed to your channel on youtube as well. As far as the mascara is concerned, it seems to work very well. Especially for people with shorter eye lashes.. I've pretty long eye lashes but I always run into problems with mascara's as they eventually either smudge off or flake after a few hours at work.. I have heard great reviews about Covergirl Lash Blast but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Anyhow, I am simply intrigued with this new one and I can't wait to try it. To be honest, the vibration concept alone intrigued me.. And then I saw your video and I was quite impressed with it. Thanks for doing these amazing reviews for us. People like myself who are new to makeup definitely cherish an honest feedback :) Anyhow, good luck to all participants :)) Cheers!

Hey Critty, I am newer here and just love your videos. So helpful. Wow that mascara is so cool. I love having long lashes. I think that vibration thing is genius. When you put it on it looked really good and your lashes looked really long and thick. I don't try many mascaras since I got Urban Deacay Big Fatty Mascara since I haven't found any better. I really love thick lashes. The thick the better so I think the vibrations will work wonders since it can really get every lash and get really close to the lash line. Looks wicked.

Dear Critty, thanx to your "lancome oscillation" video I discovered you! great job! it seems like i'm trying it on! I can't wait to try it on....I don't know if i'll be able to buy it here, or I have to wait till i go to the Us (hopefully next year!)...anyway from what I could learn, it really pumps up the lashes and makes them incredibly long, right?!It looks so nice on you! ciao MAYA
