Here I go again, trying to match my eyeshadows to my clothes. I wore this out Saturday night. I went out with my friends from work to celebrate a few birthdays. I had a BLAST!
Anyways, here is a pic of the shirt I wore, and tried to match my shadows with...
I used my Urban Decay Urban Ammo Shadow Box for this look; using Last Call (metallic purple), Oil Slick (black with rainbow glitter), and Polyester Bride (white with silver glitter). I don't really care for these shadows too much, mostly because they are super glittery/shimmery and I get a ton of fallout with them. So with these shadows, I applied most of the eyeshadow and then applied my face. I don't care to do it this way, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. LOL.
And I was in a hurry, so this didn't come out exactly like I wanted to, but its still okay. And it doesn't matter when you go out in New Orleans, because you sweat all the makeup off anyway. It was so hot last night! But I know it could have been a lot hotter, but I wasn't feeling it anyway...I had too many Hurricanes! (BTW, thats a drink, for you people who may not know the famous drink from Pat O's)

On my face, I started out with some MAC Prep & Prime Skin. I used MAC Select Cover Up Concealer in NC15 on my under eye bags, and on a little redness on my chin. I wore MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 applied with a MAC 187 brush, MAC Select Sheer Loose Powder in N5, MAC Mineralized Blush in Dainty on my cheeks with a little Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick in Rose. I set it all with MAC Fix+ Spray.
On my eyes I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance on the entire lid, as well as on the lower lash line. On my lid, I applied MAC Sharkskin Shadestick to my lid and into my crease. I used Urban Decay Last Call eyeshadow on the inner half of my lid and Urban Decay Oil Slick on the outer half of lid, and blended them together. I did the same on my lower lash line. I used MAC Dazzlelight as a highlight on my brow bone and then sweeped a little Urban Decay Polyester Bride over that, and into my tearduct area, and also a little on top of my cheek bone. I lined my upper lash line with L'Oreal HIP cream eyeliner in black and lined my water line with Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero. I used Clinique High Impact Mascara in black on my lashes. I finished with Clinique Brow Keeper in Honey on my brows.
I tried to do a nude lip, but am having troubles with that. So I did as nude as I could get with them, using MAC Delish lipstick and MAC Cult Face lipglass.

When I originally planned this look out, I wanted to use MAC Sketch eyeshadow on my lid (which is a brugundy eyeshadow) and use MAC Dazzlelight pigment as an eyeliner (which would have been gold). I tried it earlier in the day, and it just didn't look right to me. But if the sequins on the shirt I wore would have been a little brighter, I think I probably would have done that instead of what I wore.
I had a boring Sunday. My legs were killing me from walking around in heels all night last night. So I rested mostly today, and finished reading Breaking Dawn, which is the last book of the Twilight Series. :( I don't know what I'm going to do now. I spent most of last weekend and this past week reading them when I didn't have anything to do. Thankfully, it was a little slow at work, so I got a lot of reading done there. Angainst my better judgement, I think I will read them again (incase I missed anything through my first read...I know, I'm a sad individual).
Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I apoligize gor getting Critty hooked on Twilight and giving her under eye luggage!
LOVE!!!! Love love love love love love love love love love love love ... love!!! I hate that about those UD Shadows, I like the Deluxe ones better, no glitter. LOVE!! :)
