I've been meaning to post this since last week...I've been very lazy all week.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to use them. From what I've seen on YouTube and read from different places, everyone loves these. Maybe I'm the only person in the world, but I don't like them...at all.

I bought Black Kohl and Burgundy Kohl. They were about 12 bucks, I think. I also picked up that new lip gloss by HiP. Its alright. I keep it in my car for when I need it. It was like 11 bucks or so. In my opinion, I would just spend two or three dollars more and get a MAC Lipglass. But I guess the catch is you get two glosses in one. You can use the shade on its own or mix them together. Make it darker or lighter yada, yada. But it does have that awesome smell that I find all the HiP glosses have.

I really do love these shades. The burgundy shade has gold reflects in it, while the black has silver reflects.
First off, the applicator looks like a torture device. Its so pointy. Why would I want to put that near my eye?

I *think* you are supposed to apply this on your waterline. Well, that what I've been seeing on YouTube and reading about and such. You do this by placing the applicator on your inner waterline, closing your eye, and swiping it to the outer end of your waterline. Yeah, right. I couldn't bring myself to do that.
The applicator on the Guerlain one looks much more friendlier.

Anyway, I tried to use it as a liner for my top lashline. It was ok, but gave me a bit of fallout and faded rather quickly.
Here is the black one used as a liner on the top lash line.

And then I tried it on my waterline. I would not reccommend this for people with contacts. As I have learned.
I didn't use the "preferred method." The one where you just place it on your waterline, close your eye, and swipe it across. I applied it as you would a pencil liner. Maybe thats where I went wrong, I don't know. But I was a scaredy cat, and didn't want to poke out my eyes, your know, needing them to see and everything.
Here is using the burgundy one on the waterline.

Hello, fallout!....nasty.

All complete...doesn't look half bad.
And another using the black on the waterline.

Ok, with nothing.

See, the loose powder on my contact. Not attractive!

But, once you blink a few times it goes away, but it is not a pleasant feeling as it makes my eyes water a bit.
Again, not half bad one you are finished.
Those two last looks were done using the MAC Infatuating Rose Cool Eyes Palette. I love that palette and am glad I bought it.
I've used it a few other times on my waterline. Once I got the hang of it I didn't get that much fallout. But I still got a bit on my contact. But those contacts were on their way out anyway.
I still prefer to use MAC Feline Kohl Power Pencil or UD 24/7 liner in Zero for my waterline. It stays a little longer and it doesn't skip.
So, all in all, not something I would purchase again or recommend for purchasing (esp. for contact lens wearers). So this has been added to my "makeup graveyard."
But you may try it and love it. But in my opinion, I just don't like it.
If you have used this and have had great results, let me know. Maybe you can tell me something I am doing wrong.
That definitely looks like something I can skip. I tried to call L'Oreal and ask if it was safe to use on the waterline, but the US site does not have a phone number and the Canadian one does not know anything about this product. I just can't imagine putting powder on my waterline and it not screwing up my contacts in a major way. Great review! :)
