I got mac and sephora gift cards for christmas and I'm ready to splurge:) The two things that I know that I'm getting from MAC for sure are Studio Finish Concealer and Hug Me Lipstick. Any other "must haves" for a relative mac virgin? I've also been debating getting NARS orgasm, but I'm definitely not sure if I will. I know there's tons of dupes for it. Also, do any of you know of upcoming collections coming out? Should I save my money for those?

PS. I've been mostly into lips and cheeks things lately, what are your suggestions for a super pale girl?

I don't like NARS Orgasm. I prefer NARS Deep Throat. Its a little more pink, and not as shimmery. But thats just my opinion. As for lips, I'm loving the CK Delicious Light Lipgloss in Taffy.

Oooo I love gift cards! For Sephora - I would recommend holding off purchasing right now, because the Spring Collections are going to be coming out this month so you will have your pic of the latest and greatest products :) I have Orgasm and although it is a nice color, I think it is too shimmery for me, and it looks kinda unnatural. My sister got a good dupe at MAC, I will have to ask her what the name is, but it is not as shimmery gold. If you are super pale, Orgasm might have too much gold shimmer for you.

For MAC - I love shadows, paint pots, blushes and brushes. I am not a huge fan of their lipsticks and I am allergic to their glosses, so I am not a help there. Oh and of course I love pigments - the best deal on the planet!! And the MSF blushes (and Warm Soul as a bronzer for us pasty peeps) and the 181 tiny kabuki brush for the MSFs.

Or you could rid yourself of the choices and just send those gift cards my way - ha!!!! :)

MAC's coming here too, in October! I'm psyched, had to cry it out loud somewhere. I can hardly wait! I think I'll get a job this summer and save the money STRICTLY for massive MAC shopping!

aww, i'd love to, but there's no way I can do it :) i'm only looking for a summer job, and MAC is launching here in fall. And I want something temporarily.. actually, my dreamjob would be to work as a clerk, in a store, with low responsability and AC, where no one ever comes but the salary is obscenely high :) lol.

and to be back on topic.. I'd definitely go for all of those lovely Lipgelees (i have amber russe and jellybabe, and love them), those tendertones (or however they're called, I gotta have them), lipsticks in Myth, Hue and Freckletone definitely, only to begin with :)
one MSF, a couple of blushes (Peach and peachykeen) and a couple of pigments: vanilla is a must.
and that Feline eyeliner too :)

by the way.. can someone tell me how much does a lipglass/lipstick cost?

That would be a dream job! It should be in a bed store so you can take many naps :) Lipsticks - $14 US ($16.50 Cdn) and Lipglasses - $14 - 17.50 US
