Today I bought my first mono eyeshadow from Seventeen. I have always loved their eyeshadows, but tried them only in the trio pallettes available. Anyway, this solid black, satin finished colour is EXTRAORDINARY! God, I love it. The texture is so silky and lush, it’s a pleasure to blend it. I dare to compare it with Kid, from MAC, you get the same beautiful texture and the same feel when you apply it. I applied it on my lower lashline with the smudge brush from Sephora and discovered such a black, matte, velvety colour! It’s awesome for the smokey eye and it’s one of the very few black e/s I’ve seen that are black. Not a dark grey or a black maroon, but black in all of its power. So the pigmentation is great, the silky texture also, so velvety and smooth, and it is matte, but it’s not a flat black, it’s just satiny. The lasting power is awesome, I applied it almost 5 hours ago and it looks just as fresh, but don’t know how it is going to look after a whole day of wearing. This hasn’t smeared, and the colour is still intense. It blends like a dream, no exaggeration, and it became my new favourite smokey eye secret :) Can’t describe how happy I am with it.. I’ve always liked the eyeshadows from Seventeen, but had no idea these mono little thingies could be so good. I just want to buy them all! They come in a great variety of shades and finishes, it’s impossible to resist to them.. Aww, and you get 4g of product! Awesome.
